MBEC frequently uses wildlife cameras on a wide range of projects because they are cost effective and make 24-hour, non-invasive monitoring possible. A few examples of the more interesting footage captured are shown below.

Badgers have fleas and lice and sometimes need a good old scratch. Whilst badgers often rotate between the various setts they reside within, they are unlikely to get rid of all their parasites which often survive in their bedding. It is believed that grooming each other is an important function in the badger group, not just for social bonding but also in helping get rid of various parasites, including fleas.
